i actually have a project sitting on my desk trying to find ways to make use of left over cooking oil... and one to use left over paint. i can give this job that, you do see some very interesting projects come thru for funding.

that's actually what the oil one is doing... trying to combine it to make bio-diesel, the paint one is combining it with concrete. pretty interesting.

Any fan device would only add drag to the vehicle which would cause it to expend more energy thereby canceling out any extra energy created by the fan in the first place. Keep in mind the "wind" is created by the movement of the car.
The cooling system on all combustion engine vehicles inducts air w/o causing much drag at all anymore. That's the main reason why radiators are cooled with ELECTRIC fans instead of a clutch driven or propfan.
Your air conditioner/heater causes drag if thats the case, same for your brakes, and tires. Hell the old 4/55AC will kill ya! [img]wink.gif[/img]
All I'm saying is that simple things like driving the alternator (or charge source) by something other than the crankshaft of an engine, to conserve the overall fuel rate is one way of managing our reserves. It's also steps toward research and development.
